The Story

The Field House Restaurant is a locally owned and operated restaurant by the Stys family who grow up in the Scotland area. The Stys family have combined their creative flair and passion for great food, pulling in Jerry's innovative expertise, to open their family restaurant, with a commitment to being simple, fresh, and a part of their local neighbourhoods. They do it right. From the fresh food and cold beers to the comforting neighbourhood vibe, you can expect the great quality experience and warm welcome. They want you to feel right at home. Our Manager

Jerry Stys is the owner/manager, who after graduating from Hotel-Restaurant Management, began his career out west in British Columbia, ending up on Vancouver Island, managing restaurants and pubs. The dream was to open his own restaurant, so he came back to Ontario and a new venture was born. Jerry brings over 15 years of professional restaurant management experience to his role at The Field House Restaurant. He is passionate about delivering you a quality experience with great service, tasty food and refreshing beverages.

Local Hospitality

Tirelessly hands-on owner/manager Jerry, and his small, yet efficient team are a breath of fresh air when it comes to local restaurant hospitality. They live and work in the neighbourhoods they serve, building and contributing to local community. They buy fresh ingredients from people they know and trust. And yes, they do make their food from scratch, from burgers, fresh cut fries, in house made sauces, all the way down to delicious desserts. After all this is a family owned restaurant that's committed to serving you amazing food at great prices, and a place of edible creativity and drinkable pleasure.

Conveniently located off Hwy#24 at the Oakland Road Exit into Scotland, our family restaurant is great local place for tasty food.
